Biological steam sterilisation indicator tube (autoclave) GEOBACILLUS STEAROTHERMOPHILUS super fast reading 1h
BT223 consists of a plastic tube with a plastic lid with holes and a permeable barrier for steam. Each tube contains a spore population.
Geobacillus stearothermophilus ATCC 7953 soaked on a paper tape (spore carrier) and a purple culture medium in a vial beaker, which is on a filter at the base of the tube.
BT223 Super Rapid steam sterilization processes have been designed for easy and fast reading after sterilization cycles (IUSS or Flash) for 3-10 minutes at 132-135 ° C.
Fast Fast Reading: 1h
Super Rapida reading must only be done in the Bionova® IC10 / 20FR Reader Incubator. Final reading of the negative results is available at 60 minutes of incubation. Fluorescence is a direct measure of the germination and growth of Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores that have survived the sterilization process (positive result). Moreover, a failure in the sterilization process can also become evident by changing the color of the culture medium. Because of the high sensitivity of fluorescence results after 60 minutes of incubation, reading in conventional color change incubators is not an advantage.
