BT223 Super Rapid steam sterilization processes have been designed for easy and fast reading after sterilization cycles (IUSS or Flash) for 3-10 minutes at 132-135 ° C.
Super Fast Reading: 30 minutes
Super Rapida reading must only be done in the Bionova® IC10 / 20FR Reader Incubator. Final reading of the negative results is available within 30 minutes of incubation. Fluorescence is a direct measure of the germination and growth of Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores that have survived the sterilization process (positive result). Moreover, a failure in the sterilization process can also become evident by changing the color of the culture medium. Because of the high sensitivity of fluorescence results after 30 minutes of incubation, reading in conventional color change incubators is not an advantage.
