The BT223 consists of a plastic tube with a plastic lid with holes and a vapor permeable bar. Super Rapida reading must only be done in the IC10 / 20FR Reader. The incubator, at the end of a negative result, is available for 90 minutes of incubation. Fluorescence is a direct measure in sprouting and spore growth. Geobacillus stearothermophilus that survived the sterilization process (positive result). Moreover, a failure in the sterilization process can also become evident by changing the color of the culture medium. Due to a high sensitivity of fluorescence results after 90 minutes of incubation, reading in conventional color change incubators is not an advantage.
